Data deletion
Last updated 10 September 2026
How to remove your data from MetricsGo, and what happens when you do. This page is also the data-deletion URL registered with Meta.
Disconnect a single connection
Inside MetricsGo, as an organisation admin:
- Open Settings → Clients and pick the client.
- Choose Disconnect on the ad account, Facebook Page, Instagram account, GA4 property, Search Console site or Shopify store. Each one disconnects separately.
- Synced data for that connection is removed and syncing stops. For Meta you can also tick “also revoke on Facebook” to remove MetricsGo’s access there too.
Delete a client
Settings → Clients → Delete client removes the client and everything synced for it: campaigns, ad sets, ads, daily insights, breakdowns, social insights and posts, GA4 and Search Console history, every Shopify daily total, and the encrypted Shopify credentials.
Delete your account
Email support@digygo.com from the address on the account with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm within 7 days and remove your account data and any organisation you alone own, including its platform data.
Revoke access at the platform itself
In Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → MetricsGo → Remove. Meta then notifies us and we delete the platform data for the affected accounts.
In Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party access → MetricsGo → Remove access. Analytics and Search Console syncing stops at once.
In Shopify: delete the app you created in your Dev Dashboard. The credentials MetricsGo holds stop working immediately.
What is kept
Server logs and backups can hold copies for up to 30 days before they age out. Audit records of who connected and disconnected what (without platform data) are kept for the organisation’s own security history.
