Terms of service

The service

MetricsGo syncs performance data from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Analytics and Search Console) and Shopify for the businesses you connect, and presents it as dashboards, reports, alerts, an API and an MCP server. It is read-only: it never changes anything on the connected accounts.

Your account and organisation

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials private, and for the people you invite into your organisation. Admins can add and remove members, connect and disconnect accounts, and create and revoke API keys.

Platform data

You may only connect accounts you are authorised to act for, and you may only use platform data on behalf of the business it belongs to. If you are an agency, that means each client’s data is used for that client and no one else.

You agree to comply with the terms of every platform you connect — Meta’s Platform Terms and Business Tools Terms, the Google API Services User Data Policy, and Shopify’s API terms — as they apply to you. If a platform requires us to stop processing data for an account, we will, and we will tell you.

API keys and MCP access

API keys belong to your organisation. Anything done with a key is your organisation’s responsibility, including data pulled into third-party tools and AI assistants. Keep keys on servers and in trusted tools, never in browser code. Revoke a key the moment you suspect it has leaked.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• Connect an account without authority to do so.
• Sell, share or aggregate platform data across businesses.
• Probe, overload or attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls.
• Use the service in a way that violates a connected platform’s terms or applicable law.

Availability and changes

MetricsGo is in early access and free. We may change features, limits and pricing; we will give notice before anything that affects existing accounts. Data shown depends on each platform’s API and can lag or be restated by that platform.

Termination

You can disconnect accounts or delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or a connected platform’s. On termination we delete platform data as described in the Privacy policy.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or decisions made on the basis of data that a platform later restates. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
